Creamy 61st Month

On our 61st month, we had 2 performances on that day. We went for Standard Chartered Marathon performance in the morning, chill out with Astros in the afternoon before going for another performance for charity in the evening. And Dearie did her 1st ever scorpion in a performance on that day. Woohoo...

After all that Dearie and I went to Bukit Panjang Plaza to have our celebratory meal -> Ice-cream at Swensens. It was a free meal; we used the vouchers given by my Ma and got 2 free ice-cream, 1 double berry sundae and 1 sticky chewy chocolate sundae. The 1st month of our 6th year. For this year, we had made a resolution that we are not going to spend lavishly on our monthsary celebration and we did it for our 1st month. Yeah!

MMI 2010

Attended MMI with Dearie, her brother, XiangJin and Lawrence. It was a great 3 day weekend for me and I got to refreshed many concepts. It was also very beneficial for Dearie, her brother, XiangJin and Lawrence. Got to spend time interacting with each other and learn more about each other as well. Can't wait for our next education.

Happy 28th Birthday to Pui Pui

Pui Pui loves French Cuisine!

Celebrated Pui Pui 28th birthday at The French Kitchen @ Central Mall. I also bought Pui Pui his birthday present ("I am king" perfume by Sean John) and also a surprise mini birthday cake that I had requested the chef to bake. I had duck confitt and Pui Pui had steak. We also shared escargot and foire gas (our favorites). French cuisine is as usual very exquisite, every thing tasted so delicious.

Hope pui pui had a wonderful 28th birthday celebration with Dearie.

Happy Birthday Pui Pui & Pui's Ma

Pui's Ma and Pui Pui's birthday is just 4 days apart, Pui's Ma on the 12th Nov and Pui Pui's on the 16th Nov. So we chose 14th Nov to celebrate for both. Pui Pui's whole family and I went to JP for dinner at Pu Tien first and then caught a movie (Red by Bruce Willis). We end off the day with ice-cream birthday cake celebration at Hagen Daz. We had such an enjoyable day.

Jolly 5th Year - Camping at ECP

Had our 5th year celebration and tried camping at East Coast Park for the first time. It started with us trying to find a good location to set up our tent. For location wise, we decide to choose a place near to the food centre where we planned to be buying our dinner for the 1st night. As we were choosing our spot, it started to rain slightly and as we decided to settle down beside this nice tree. We are very fortunate to meet a very nice man, he was a S league player for Home United, and he helped us to pitch our tent. He can tell that we are first timers, partly cos our tent were still in its original unopenned state.

After our tent was set up, we went to get our dinner. We bought lots of food back into our tent to feast. We had tiger prawns, salty duck soup, sting ray, kang kong, oyster omelette. Then after the feast, we enjoyed a movie in our tent. We brought along this inflatable air bed and it was very comfortable, a must for camping I would say. Our tent was also very spacious; we got ourselves a 6 men tent for just the 2 of us. haha. Some tips for first time campers - get proper working lights that does not blow out, and get portable fans as well if you cannot stand heat.

After a good nights rest in the tent, we woke up and did some exercise along the beach. We brought along this "hoot hoot", something like a ball in a racket, and played. It was really fun. Then after that, we had our lunch, which we order take away from pizza hut. We laid our mats out just beside our tent and enjoy the food. After eating lunch, we had a little pinic, where we played some card games while snacking on all the tibits. After a while, we decided to have forfeit for loser of each game, and our forfeit ranging from doing back tucks to toss cupies. It turned out that I lost most of the time and ended up doing lots of stunts and was completely drained out after that. haha. It was really fun though.

After all the games, forfeits, food and picnic, the sun was starting to set and we packed up our tent and made our way back. All in all camping at East Coast Park was super fun!

Shopping for Camping Equipment

Went to Sun Tec to reece for our camping equipment. We are going camping on our 5th year. How exciting! Woohoo...

Senja Gateway

Went to Toa Payoh HDB Hub for selection of our first flat at Senja Gateway. We got ourselves the dream unit we wanted @ 27th level. After the selection, we went for a celebratory lunch with my Pa & Ma. Really appreciate them for accompanying us for the selection of our home sweet home. Can't wait to stay together with my Dearie. Yeah!

Courtney Smith's F&F

Went for a forex seminar over the weekend. Learnt many new techniques and feeling more confident about trading now.

I am ready for the next step.

Blissful 59th Month Celebration

We went to Marche @ 313 to celebrate our 59th Month after Courtney Smith's F&F course. Have a sumptuous dinner. Love it!

Amazing Hong Kong Trip

Went Hong Kong with Dearie and her buddies, Xiangjin & Yiping, and their boyfriends.

Perfect eyesight

Finally done my lasik surgery. The eye was in pain for the first 3 to 4 hours and then everything is back to normal, except now I have perfect eyesight.

Missed the feeling of being able to see clearly without my glasses for the 1st time in 20 years.

Cool 58th Month

Dearie bought me a pair of Oakley shades to protect my eyes after my lasik surgery. My Dearie is so sweet. Love it! I bought her a chocolate mousse cake @ JP Bakerzin to celebrate our 58th Month.

Never work again

Double Life

Just some rumblings...

I got up late for work again today. And my mum was screaming at me saying how irresponsible I am, that no wonder I did not get my promotion, blah blah blah.

The reason why I got up late was because for consecutive nights, I have been working till 3, 4 am doing Astros promotional video. I realise that I am only truely creating value after "work". It's tough to lead a double life.

I think I am seriously doing a bad job as an engineer, but I "had to" continue for the job security, for the money, for stability, blah blah blah.

I prefer my life at nights, "after work", that time is the time I am truely "working" and I do not feel tired or mind putting in extra hours for my "night job".

When can I live a "normal life"? I am getting tired. In 1 life, I am seen as a role model, and in my other life, I am just a walking zombie. In 1 life, I cannot complain and have to be strong, and in my other life, no one would even hear my complains. Give me more strength to carry on...

Ok. I am fine now. Just need to let off some steam. We create our own destiny.

Phuket Trip (Celebrating Dearie's 25th Birthday)

We went for a short getaway trip to Phuket from 29th July to 1st August. It was a nice relaxing trip to get us recharged for our charge forward.

Enjoyable weekend

We had one of the best weekends in a while.

Went for WC stunt fest over on Saturday, then went to celebrate my Nainai birthday. Then we had a relaxing afternoon, strolling, shopping, eating before we end our day early to rest for performance on Sunday

Sunday we went for our 1st performance since a long long time. It was a great routine and we got ASU. Next, again for the 1st time, we went to Marina Baragge and took photos and videos at the same time enjoying the scenary. Then up nest is durian buffet with Astros and snow's mum and brother. Then we went back to snow place for a quick rest before heading out to Jay Chou's 2010 concert.

It was really a great fulfilling weekend ending with a climax at Jay Chou's concert.

Jay Chou Concert 2010

Went to Jay Chou concert with Dearie, Ah Di & Ah Jian. We enjoyed the concert to the max. Super high energy!

I love my Sundays.

It is the day I can spend some time with myself, nourish and enrich my mind and also train and strengthen my body.

I am so rich.

In the space of 2 months I went France and Switzerland then went 2 weeks nature camp then going to Jay's concert then going Phuket.

Going to do my LASIK next month, then going HongKong in Sept.

Am I rich or what? Yes I am rich, getting richer day by day. And I never have to work again.

Lasik II

My LASIK appointment is set on 11th August. Woohoo, 1 more resolution down.

Last month

It seems that after NWA, I really never have to work again for the past month, although my freedom was being restricted.

I have finished reading 3 books while in ICT, "Why we want you to be rich", "How to make friends and influence people" and "Rich Dad's prophecy". Started on "Fast profits in hard times"

Since May, everything seems to be like a blast. Everything happened so quickly. From coaching Alpha, having our own performance, Passion run, Extravaganza, NVM, Paris, ICT, and events after events.

I love my life. I am going for LASIK checkup tomorrow, say goodbye to my glasses.
